Breeders' Cup 2026: Every Race in UK Time

The Breeders' Cup 2026 is at Keeneland, Kentucky, on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October. Here is every Breeders' Cup race in UK time. For contenders, colours, trainers and jockeys in every race, see our Breeders' Cup 2026 Guide.

Why UK time is 4 hours ahead this year

UK clocks went back on Sunday 25 October, but US clocks do not go back until Sunday 1 November. So on both Breeders' Cup days Keeneland is on Eastern Daylight Time and the UK is 4 hours ahead. Add 4 hours to every US post time.

What time is the Breeders' Cup Classic in the UK?

The Breeders' Cup Classic is off at 22:16 UK time on Saturday 31 October (6:16pm Eastern). It is run over 1¼ miles on the dirt and is the last race of the meeting.

Grass or dirt: what to know before you watch

Seven of this year's 14 races are on the grass (turf) and seven on the dirt. By our own count of every Breeders' Cup from 2011 to 2025, horses trained in Europe won 48 of the 98 turf races and none of the 105 dirt races. When a European horse lines up, check which surface it is racing on.
